Hold Fast to Your Faith in God

Happy Friday to everyone. Wild fires have cropped up across Oklahoma today...burning lots of homes, farms and acres of land. We need more rain...soon!

We are so Blessed compared to the people in Japan with the earthquake/tsunami that hit early this morning.

This post is great! Hope that you receive a Blessing from it.

Hold fast to your faith in God.
You're not being promised
days filled with sunshine
or no pain,
but in Him you'll find some peace
to get through each day.

Questions will come to mind...
Why me?
What did I do wrong?

It is good to search for the answers,
but admit your mistakes
and get on with life.

It's not easy,
so take one day at a time.

Brighter days will come;
It's just a matter of time.

You're not alone;
there are many who feel as you do.

It's your faith that
will pull you through.

From Whence Shall My Help Come?

Happy Thursday to everyone. Sun is shining in Oklahoma and it is supposed to be a warm day. Hope that you will have a nice one in your town too!

Today's post is one of my favorite passages from Psalms.

"I will lift up my eyes to the mountains;
From whence shall my help come?
My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth.
He will not allow your foot to slip;
He who keeps you will not slumber...

The Lord is your keeper;
The Lord is your shade on your right hand.
The sun will not smite you by day,
Nor the moon by night.
The Lord will protect you from all evil,
He will keep your soul.
The Lord will guard your going out
and your coming in
From this time forth and forever."

Happy Tuesday to everyone! Raining today...wonderful "liquid refreshment" that we desperately needed! Thank you, Jesus! Many parts of the country didn't need rain, but Oklahoma did.

Prayer is so simple...

Happy Monday to all! Sun is shining in Oklahoma (most of the state anyway) and the wind is blowing strong. Weatherman says highs in the 50-60 range today, but cooler because of the wind. Maybe some rain tomorrow...we need it very bad!
